Mother's Day

Contributed by malcolmsdreamgirl on Monday, 19th March 2007 @ 09:36:24 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Today is Mothering Sunday, a day not to be forgot
A day dedicated to our Mother's, of whom we think a lot
A time to show our grattitude, to those we love and cherish
Not a second in time to be wasted, not a single moment perished

If I had my Mother here today, Much love, I'd would show her, and how
If she were there for me to love, and touch and appreciate now
How I would show her that I loved her, and how much she meant to me
A very special Mother, giving all she had unselfishly

I would treat her like a Princess, or a Queen, or like Royalty
In the moments we spent together, special times she spent with me
I would worship the ground she walked on, and give everything I own
Just to spend some precious time with My Mother, just for us alone

I would tell her of the things she's done, that I maybe didn't say
How good and kind and caring she was, to me just every day
I'd appreciate the sacrifices ,she always seemed to make
All the things she gave to me, which I just seemed to take

If I had my Mother here today, to love and cherish hold
I would know exactly what to say, I need not then be told
I would cossat her and comfort her and cradle in my arms
I would keep her safe and sound and loved away from all lifes harms

But I wouldn't wait just once a year to show how much I care
I would love her every single day, and spoil her whilst she was there
I would give her so much love from my heart, she'd almost want to burst
I'd be there for her every day, cherish moments with her, when her I nursed

But she isn't here on Earth today, for me to show all this
Not here to physically show her love, her cheek to gently kiss
So, all I have are words for her and love within my heart
To tell her of my love for her..... since that day,we did sadly part...

One day again, in time to come, again I will then show
The love I hold within my heart, I'm sure she already knows
One day we will again be close and time will tell us when
Until then I must send my love by prayer and so, til then

"Mum... I love you with all my heart and soul ALWAYS"
HAPPY MOTHER's DAY" I LOVE YOU xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
