Pick any topic you like
And state your opinion aloud
If you have chosen your subject with care
No doubt you’ve divided the crowd
Some folks will lean to the left
Some folks will lean to the right
Most will just wait until others decide-
Then oppose the decision for spite.
Thus through the ages of man
The clash of ideas has unfurled
Every idea had to fight for the right
To carve out its place in the world
Now, though, the pace is much faster
Computers are in every house.
All of our neighbors have blogs of their own-
Stupidity’s spread with a mouse.
