Do you remember the poem?
The one I wrote about you?
The one I didn't understand?
I get it now, it all makes sense,
But it's wrong, not true, it's false.
I lied. I lied to you.
I lied to you when I showed you the words
"Please don't try to catch me"
Catch me. Please catch me.
Hold me in your arms until it's over.
Hug me until the pain is gone.
Wrap your arms around me,
Save me from myself.
I lied. I lied to you.
I lied to you when I showed you the words
"Just let me fall, let me fall forever"
Nothing can fall forever.
It always stops. It always ends.
It always hurts.
I don't want to hurt anyone.
I don't want to be hurt anymore.
I lied. I lied to you.
I lied to you when I showed you the words
"Please don't try to catch me"
"Just let me fall, let me fall forever"
Catch me. Please catch me.
Nothing can fall forever.
Hold me in your arms.
Hug me forever.
Wrap your arms around me
And don't ever let go.
