Picture House
If all life’s a stage
What of a shimmering screen?
Its temporary dazzle
Replaced with a still echo
Its peeling posters
Dusty seats, empty aisles
Lie grey and alone
In a forgotten part of town
Solitary, the rain mourns
The loss of the Picture House
