Not to long ago,
I could feel your love.
It kept me safe,
It kept me above.
But we're not near now,
And I'm dying inside.
I have forsaken myself.
Part of my soul has died.
Hiding in the corner,
Covering my tear stained face.
My soul screams,
I need to get out of this place.
Leave me alone,
You can't be here.
Even though I love it,
When you're near.
You can't feel this,
I don't want you to see.
Everything that's being torn,
From inside of me.
I can't be here,
I need to go.
There's so much that hurts,
But I don't want you to know.
I know this is crazy,
And I'm being absurd.
So just ignore me,
Don't listen to a word.
I'll be fine tomorrow,
And everything will be ok.
I'll hide my broken soul,
For just another day.

I'm in awe that no one commented on this. Not to mention that i'm plain in awe of this stunning peice of true to life love poem. your passion and sadness and desperation are screaming out to the reader. first time i've read your writting, won't be the last. Very exsposed style you have. A very strong peice of writting, i felt every word along with every emotion.
