A Sweet Goodbye

Contributed by Smartie on Saturday, 17th March 2007 @ 05:58:01 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Each day I passed you in the hall
Each day I just walked right by
I never once tried to say hello
Even when I knew it would help

One more moment passes
And with it gone, so are you
And all I can say now is bye
So here's my sweet goodbye

Each moment you were gone
Everyone had let out a tear
Without even knowing you
I shared in everyone's sorrow

We will always remember you
With the little memoires we have
I wish you would have know
Just if you could have seen

All these people who care
Everyone one in tears
Just becasue of you
Not a person went untouched

I'm sorry I never said hello
But for you now I wish you
The most sweet goodbye
All our thoughts are with you

Absolutely amazing, heart touching write. I love this poem very much. I went through something like this when I was in high school, but when I tried to write about it I just couldn't seem to find the right words to use. You've done it perfectly. Wonderfully written. Hope to read more of your writings soon!
