I understand your heart & mind
Your problems hidden within
I know that given time
A new life for you will begin
Deep within your mind,
In your very soul, It’s still there
The pain that you once endured
Like a cross that you bear
All the damage that it’s done
Is not so hard to repair
It’s easier as two than one
When you know the other does care
Let me help you heal
Take away all the pain
Of a past that’s over now
A bright new future & all to gain
All I want is to be right there
Help you understand
Mend your wilted heart,
Make you strong, hold your hand
Given that I understand you
Given that I care
Don’t go this alone,
I’m here for you in me to share
