Valentines Night Dream

Valentines Night Dream

Still baffed and confused on what this one might mean,
I laze in bed confused with flashes of last nights dream,
A vision of someone my life once had seen,
Viewed through a window, projected on my minds wide screen.

Now, the first part of this dream is a film for another day,
I remember this part starting with pushing a chair down an alley,
The scene was set in Islington, in the "Calli" specifically should I say,
As I reached the end of the alley someone familiar was in my way…

Of all the people I expected to see it was defiantly not you,
Dressed in a pair of Adidas bottoms white stripes the main colour blue,
With the dinner jacket you were wearing and bag, this dress sense was not you,
But since when did ones dreams have to abide by a rule?

Small talk started you were nothing but smiles,
The kind that in the beginning made me think about you for a while…
… Which in turn, turned into days, but my feelings at this point are not caring,
Cause I'm standing there staring at what my dream has got you wearing!

Dreams got me standing there feeling kind of vex,
As you ask me to do a CD, confirmation of a time you'll see me next?
From a CD of 18, a email of a few, down to sending just one by a text,
You don't say the type of music, just pleading I meet your request.

And then, I just let it all go…
Everything I wanted to say before I decided this relationship was going to slow,
So deep I had your neighbough's walking pass saying 'She knows, She knows'
But the funny thing is it felt good to just let it all just free flow.

I could go into details and expose who this one might be,
But if your if your mind is a quick as my tongue your already head of me,
But looking between the lines this dream was not about she,
But it goes back to the lines that she received in the Calli streets.

Seems like I'm tired of trying to sweep women, ladies, girls of there feet,
And when the time is sweet they always want to reminisce and meet,
It was yours for the taking, you didn't want it, and some had me crying at there feet,
But what's that saying; you can't have your cake as well as sit there and eat....
