Its not enough to be in love
We hide behind that word.
Its not enough to be held down
We hide behind that wall.
Its not enough to have lost it all
It never mean that much.
So, tell me not about the pouring rain
But from where the forgiveness came.
And, tell me not about the tears you cried
But the act of kindness, which made the tears run dry.
And I will tell, not about the love we lost
But how to gracefully let go.
And I will tell, not about our anger
But point us down another road.
Then our lives can come to different terms
By way of the lines we leave.
And we can come to different terms
Without the need for an apology…

A well written piece
And we can come to different terms
Without the need for an apology…
each poet always has their own interpretation
and clarity never has to be the same for any two people.....that is why I love it so.

| Interesting piece. I enjoyed reading it. Made me think of what I write...and how other's view it. Interpretation is something personal and different for everyone. That's what I love about poetry. It is always darkest before dawn. Before one can let go..they must write the lines, between them black...then perhaps the sun could shine...once they've forgotten what it is they lack! |

| It's cute. I do believe you meant to say "It never means" or "It never meant," but the no-nonsense approach accentuates the clarity of your thought. On the other hand, I'm not quite sure I agree that all poetry is supposed to be a clear-cut map from A to B. But good work anyway. |

| I think your poem is alright. I think if you put more thought into and made it longer with more percsion then it would be much better. I know alot like this poem, but it was too short for all the detail that could have been added to this poem. |
