no friends around
no one to talk to
alone all day
with only the tv for company
baby sleeping in her crib
all peaceful and happy
not care to be seen
wasting away
can't even eat
no one cares
about lil ol' me
my baby is my life
and my only joy
living for her
is my only purpose anymore
husband don't care
hardly ever around
living in a messy house
with none of it ours
hundreds of cats
making you sneeze and depressed
dogs barking all night
so theres no sleep in sight
what to do
no money because hubby
can't find work
won't change diapers
so mommy can't either
so lonely and unhappy
wishing for things
and friends to make me happy
its awfly sad when all you have is a tiny baby

This is a very good write. You are good at showing raw emotions. Things will get better, you just have to have hope. Even when you don't think there is anything to hope for. At least you have your baby girl. Keep up the good writing! |

I remember a time I would have traded my soul for that baby in the crib...I wanted so much to shower all my maternal intincts on a boby of my flesh...then after 9 years of waiting I was blessed. Try to never look at what you don't have....but what you do have.Be a ray of hope and sunshine for that soul in the crib...teach her to be loving and forgiving and as bright and poetic as her mommy. Sing to her and let her smileand be your sunshine....you will soon write the joy of loving and there will be no room for the have nots.....there is a ramble if you ever heard one. Hugs and love to you |
