The day that was dark

This morning I woke up to see my dream come true
I could see the sky remaining black and not blue
Why the sun did not rise, there was no clue
But I rose up from bed to start the day that`s new
Completing my routines, I went to put on my shoes
Rushed to my car, not even hearing morning news
I drove it in full fast, not minding the traffic cues
But I feared which demon had taken the sky blues
I parked the car in office and opened my cabin`s door
I found my office boys sleeping and heard their snore
I followed these sleeping boys to the next cabin in roar
The office boy there woke up to see my face in bore
The boy cleaned his eyes to look me with long stare
He saw the time in his watch and his face became bare
Switching on the lights, he showed his watch in glare
When I saw the time, I really had a nightmare
The reason that the sun did not give its shine
Is that the watch read twelve past forty-nine
Clowning on my head I went to home, to have wine
And then only noticed that my clock was in ruin
