Someone once said, “may you live in interesting times”
Yet who knew it was a curse
Innocence breeds humbleness, and leads to unstructured rhymes
Hearts of gold and a silver mind
Morph into tinted waste
Question yourself…
Do you really want knowledge or are you in haste?
Who killed innocence, the blood filled masses
Angels dance on the fires glare, while acid rain turns rancid
Homicidal, Murderous, who?
Hypocritical, nonsensical, liar that’s you
Ravens song sing sweet tunes of death
Moan the last words of innocence, till your last breath
Do my words confuse you? Or is your mind just boggled
Was your heart really flat? Or did your spirit get throttled
Murder of soul, death of words
These are things never said nor heard
Innocence…
