Move Me...

Move Me...

Remembering that this skill been done before,
I search around in my mind for something that the world hasn't heard before,
So that people at the back don't start conversations due to being bored,
And stop people remembering that they paid £5 at the door.

As I stand here, trying to remember all that and more,
I close my eyes and put myself in the position of being there on the floor,
Watching my artist of choice that my soul glows for,
What would they need to do to make me call aloud for an encore…

Me being me…

They have come to experience being close to my personality,
If they just wanted to hear me they could turn to track 3,
4 or 5,
Closed there eyes,
And just visualised me.

And what they do next is between these lines,
My eyes,
And the pen they used to inform me,
That my style,
Feels like it is uniquely designed for she.

But she's here, like the rest, because she wants more,
Because I am that artist that their souls glow for,
I've touched them in a way that their world can't simply ignore,
t's me being me that's got them here through this winter shower down poor.

So ill do it for you,
I know you made sure you wore your comfortable shoes,
Ready to feel that funky fresh groove,
And if you move enough, you may lose the sense of being you,
To the point that if feels like there is no one else in the room but us two,
To the point you forget that mans name that came with you.

Take a second now and try and think of his name,
From the way that you're sitting there feeling every word from my delivery came,
Shows that from when you started reading this poem,
You wished for a second his name was Wayne…

See now you have a fan reading your stuff...and surprise I think it's great.
You're just being modest....you just have to say hey I think I'm great and grab another piece of paper. ND

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
