From beginning to End

The beginning began around about
Twelve hours before I stopped to realize
It was no longer the beginning
At twelve hours left behind
The emptiness inclined its head
Against the bill boards
Painting sky across
Eternity
Thinking about it now
Eternity sees the irony
In the eye of the
World
The world is vastly populated
Minutely generated
Spun gently
Cast into light
To cast into shadow
Its own self
The middle has been laid
Wasted
Sick
Left to its own devices
Left to roam
Left to die in a closet
Rotting
Thus comes the conclusion
Yet, it is not to be concluded
So easily
The end is never easy
There is always some sacrifice
Even if it means to end

this piece makes me ask and what will earth do now...and what will people finally realize about not maintaining our gift....the earth becomes like breathing with its comings and its goings.....can we resuscitate? Well done. |
