Hi Wayne it is just me,
Childish, and still not answering your phone I see,
This message will be the last that you’ll be hearing from me,
If you just picked up your phone, the message count wouldn’t be more than three.
Now, I’ve spoken to friends one, two and three,
Asking me “how can I take this from a boy, a mere Pitney?”
“He woke up in the morning and said it wasn’t to be?”
“And that the love he declared, was lust and pure fantasy”
One said that “there’s plenty more like him, young single and free,
Others can learn the way you like it, and put it down like he,
Everyday keep active and time will allow you to see,
That you are better of with out him, move on and just be”,
Friend two said “is he gay?” if you are Wayne you can talk to me,
That would be an acceptable excuse for you not wanting me,
You can’t not just push me off with “its not you, it’s me”
How dare you say you didn’t love me, what do I do with the love for you that’s in me?
Friend 3 said they would never let Wayne do that to me,
To be left feeling like this, deep in my chest far from skin deep,
Another man allowed in my life for my daughter to see?
Wayne what goes around comes around, this you will now see…

Knowing how he stays, it’s in your best interest to open up your door,
He’s coming for your iPod and that laptop that you adore,
I’ve told him to ruff you up, nothing less nothing more.
Sorry Wayne that it had to come down to this,
But I need to get over these feelings of being missed, loved then dissed,
I love you Wayne I want you to know this,
But the way that you have made me feel could not go unmissed…

I guess if Wayne inspired you to get writing we have to thank him for at least that much. Maybe he just came into your life to activate your writing skills. At least that way he had a purpose...right?
Good luck getting him out of your system. Good writing even if it is about Wayne the pain! |
