Much time has passed
I have moved on
I am with someone new
Lapsed time won't heal
the love we shared
I am still feeling blue
The memories of us
together we grew
I miss them all so much
the heartfelt hugs
romantic kissing
I long for your warm touch
I don't know why
these feelings for you
always seem to grow
can't blame my heart
for loving you
you deeply touched my soul
I now dream and wish
these thoughts of you
our love would never end
its good to know
we both hung on
we will always be good friends
Much time has passed
we both moved on
we are with someone new
lapsed time won't heal
the love we shared

I feel this deeply and thank you for posting this here. I have this in my past as well and time being what it is does not touch the inner timeless terrain where our hearts and minds race. This poem is written in the sky of my mind with a lasting smoke that is slow to fade.

Beautifully put ....
Love is such a wonderful feeling but it can bring painful times... It is down to US to control our loves and place in perspective....
I have always been lucky in love ..and never felt the pain side .. I pray I never experience that side ... My heart goes out to those that have tho ... and still suffer from it today ...
Lovely heartfelt read as always
