Take me back to yesterday, When you were still in my arms,
Take me back to your beauty, And to all your charm.
Take me back to yesterday, When you said I love you too,
Take me back to your love, For this I miss so true.
Take me back to yesterday, When everything was so clear,
Take me back to higher ground, For I am drowning down here.
Take me back to yesterday, Before you said goodbye,
Take me back to the words, That never made me cry.
Take me back to yesterday, When wrong never seemed so right,
Take me back to the place, Where you first held me tight.
Take me back to yesterday, If only for awhile,
Take me back to the one, Who used to make me smile.
Take me back to yesterday, For tomorrow may never be,
Take me back to you my love, For you I long again with me.

Beatles sang it right....Oh I believe in yesterday...how we hang on to the past, and how we dream of the future, how we try and stay out of today....even though it is the present...or the gift of all that is.
May today find a love to fill the empty space of yesterday.
