All Together, On The Count Of Three...

Contributed by AKA_Anonymous on Tuesday, 13th March 2007 @ 01:21:08 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Simple hellos fade into sad goodbyes,
Another heart torn out from its seam.
So real, this pain, it's almost fake;
In this sorrow, we find beauty,
In another day's salvation, we all awake.

Everyone adorned in scarlet affliction.
As it smothers the broken spirit,
Watch as it suffocates;
As it singes the heart,
Watch it incinerate.

Drink in the passion to its last fatal drop,
Thrive in hope's gentle hold.
Indulge in the uncertainty that you may fall,
And as you're caught when you do,
Take heart in this fact: no one's truly alone.

Breaking hearts don't beat the same,
Every mouth mumbles its own sad song.
All so different, yet so alike,
Hand in hand, heart in heart,
We'll take our bow, love's requiem sung.

The first verse is the truth of loves comings and goings. It recognizes loves destruction but gives us the hope of another day of hand in hand and heart in heart.Well done
