It's Your Life, You Choose How To Draw It.

Topic: MiscPoems

I can’t tell you what will happen next
I can’t tell you how this will all end up
And I can’t promise you that it’ll be perfect

We’ve only got so much paint to use
Our pencils only last so long
These pictures aren’t perfect
And it’s all so difficult to understand
The abstract murals
And the ruined dreams

No picture is perfect
Some have big screw ups
Some are hard to understand
They are all so different
Yet some can closely relate
You think someone else’s is better
But you don’t even know, someone else envies yours

Filled with dark
Many lines
May be bright
Maybe it’s so mixed up the colors all mix, almost to a muddy mess
Could be faint, and colorless, so washed out

Make a point
Make a statement
Just tell your story
How you want others to see it
Yet show yourself
From deep inside
Make a hidden meaning
As long as you’re true

We’re all drawing, painting
Our lives
The way we want to, the way its forced, the way we feel
Just try and be true, true to yourself
How ever you want people to see you
How you want them to interpret you

Eventually
We all run out of paint
Our pencils get dull
Maybe they break
What ever you’ve left
Is there to stay

Gifted insightful and wowed me...as an artist I was tickled inside with the way you taught us our ability to paint ourselves up as best we can....and yes when all the artists supplies are gone...that's the piece...each one idividual and perfect...flaws and all. I truly love this piece.

This is beautiful and heartfelt. Good to see you post again with such a profound insight. I am grateful now to have have some experience with finger painting as when I run out or the sharpeners busted I can always resort to continue to draw.

Bravo

Peace
Yang
