Naughty Nag

Fix the horse man, he needs a new hoof.
What day you planning to fix up the roof?
Did you add that hinge to the back shed door?
How long does it take to put a board on that floor?

Naggle and Nitter me all day long,
I’m tired of that hurry and get it done song.

Get Jake to pick up that truck of cut wood.
Tell me when the stove has the new vented hood.
I ordered the window for the bedroom in back.
There are too many coats on that hall tree rack.

Naggle and Nitter me all day long.
I’m tired of that hurry and get it done song.

I’ve got some fishing and whittling to do,
I’m going into town to have me a few.
I’m planning a poker game Saturday night.
One word from you and we’re sure to fight.

You’ve Naggled and Nittered me all day long.
I’m putting an end to that get it done song.

A beautiful display of a nagging woman... I truly enjoyed reading it. It reminded of my dad and mom...a long time back that is...

This is a song from the hit Broadway musical "Yenta" that is to true to be entirely funny. I picture someone who is a cross between Roseanne, and Streisand and the naughty part is she does this all in a thong and high-heels. Oh wait I guess that my imagination running away with me. So Here's to celibacy!!!

Peace
Yang

IF ... I said IF ... there were one thing I could conceivably offer as a suggested change ...it would be only to add a word and hold a slightly more even meter ... " I'm going into town to have a few... "
the only thing I' could offer is a ME ... I'm going into town to have me a few ... I read it through three times and each time that ME wanted to be there ... I dunno ... maybe it is just ME !!!
