Thoughtless Humans

Contributed by needledancing on Monday, 12th March 2007 @ 09:06:40 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

Gravity holds them to the earth,
They do not know their cranial worth.
How sad it is to the human being,
All the potential he is fleeing.

When told that “thought is reality.”
Still he won’t choose, so fails to be.
Told to change the “thought” of who you are,
He still lacks the faith to travel that far.

When will he enter his mind of creation?
When will we be that enlightened nation?
How much faith do we truly lack?
If we can remember this simple fact.

‘You are the creator of your reality’

Bravo and right on, This piece is 'The Secret' (as seen on Oprah) exposed with the missing ingredient being action rather than belief or faith. When in touch with such a profound truth it is easy to overlook the fact and the task to apply it..

Well Done

Peace
Yang

Oh wow .. that first stanza is brilliant. Really gets the old
noodle working .. but fills this reader with a twinge of
guilt as well .. sometimes, just sometimes we see the
possibilities, but fear is SUCH a horrible barrier that
chains us to unrealized potential ...

The fear of failure is so painful to some that it becomes
much more comfortable to just not try. Sad, yes, but
some do not know how to bounce back from failed
attempts and this is a bondage almost worse
than death, I think.

(now look what ya done .. I'm rambling again! lol)

Excellent write ND. Deeply meaningful and provocative ..

Very wise young master,
but the mind is barred by many things.
Past expeirence, future longing, titles given, lables lost, the chemicals in the brain flow very different from one to another, course you know this. I put hope in your words for they help with my thoughtlessness, But I don't know my faith when you say 'You are the creator of your reality,' it definitly sounds solid but what happen to 'You are a product of your enviroment'? or my personal prison 'Guilt by assocciation'?
You do get me ranting i meant thinking.
You are more wise than this duck.
Always like reading you

Calling thia a poem would be an insult so let's just keep it at Masterpeice, not 2 mention i agree with you 100% percent. The Bible couldn't have put it any better. if i may add my own thought here 2 think were in the 21century, yet it may as well be the third century. I'm atheist, but if this is evolution forget it we ain't got a prayer. i reiterate, A true Masterpeice of writting and thought. Truly a satisfying experience for this reader.
