this ink could be my blood, pouring from my heart
this paper just a sponge, absorbing what you've torn apart.
these words could be my heart beats, i die with everyone
i wave my white flag in defeat, with this fight i'm done.
my persistence has wavered, and some may call me weak,
but after all these tears i've shed, why should it be you that i still seek?
your conscience now swim freely and the burden you carry is light.
you may not have been in the wrong,
but you were never in the right .
