Dreaming Still

Contributed by Kalbime_aldin on Monday, 12th March 2007 @ 02:30:06 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Dreaming still of your smile
Dreaming still of your lips and how they touched mine
So... slow and gentle
So... sweet and kind
Dreaming still of how you used to touch my body at night
DReaming still how we was going so good then
Suddenly just gone into thin air
Dreaming still cause I can't get you out of my head
Dreaming still of you
Dreaming still and I can't seem to stop
Dreaming of how your hand used to be on my leg
So... gentle and slow
Not moving too far up
Some one esle maybe in my life
But I'm always going to be dreaming of you
Dreaming still yeh of course i am
Still dreaming
I'll be dreaming for ever
So now you know how I feel

Dreams are dreams to be so cherished
As memories are so fragile
That often times the dream in broken
And then it makes us cry awhile

But through the thick and through the thin
All those memories held within
Will move you forward but hold you back
There's a skill which many lack

Letting go of a past is hard
Because the future is so hard to make
Holding memories that hold you down
Is so much more then you can take

Keep the memories that make you smile
Terry there a little while
But soon let go and make your own
Or otherwise, you’ll stay alone

I loved the concept of this poem. It was a
little rocky but still had a nice flow.

Keep it up,
~Karlee
