You don't have to hide, come out here, this room is safe.
There are only two heartbeats. Two. No more, no less.

In the midst of escape, you dove into this room.
and I found you, naked, without a collar.

I bet there's more to your shaking than just the cold.
No matter what I say, I doubt it'll do much good.
How can I prove I have good intentions?

Come into my arms, I'll stroke those contours
which have borne loneliness,
in this pitch black room, even words are worn out
the only sure thing, is warmth.

Shaking and scared, not coming near,
I hear you breathing, and there's a soft scent.

I feel those wounds, of the pain you hide.
in this dark room, I know nothing.

The ugly truth has been spun,
you, like me, are merely searching for life
in this lifeless world,

Come into my arms, don't be afraid, come
I merely found life.

I offer kindness, but the only sure thing is warmth.
