Mistress of Love
You are the subtle whispering
Soft calling of delight
The caring heart of love
Who comforts every night
You are the essence of desire
Touch that never leaves the same
The igniting passion of love
That sets hearts aflame
You are the incarnation
Of all I’ve envisioned love to be
All its majesty its wonder
Its omnipotent majesty
But never could I have envisioned
So divine a revelation as you
With body so deliciously sculpted
Those enslaving eyes of blue
Yes I said enslaving
Oh darling you know it’s true
For the moment I looked into your eyes
My heart was lost to you
Oft times I call you angel
Oft times precious dove
But tonight I call you Mistress
Mistress of love!

very nicely done - i really liked it
i also liked how you rhymed same with aflame... it's interesting to me because you used desire in the same stanza, and i think i've rhymed desire with on fire...
but yours flowed very well all the way through, keep it up :) |
