Where I stand

Contributed by iodinelove on Wednesday, 7th March 2007 @ 10:29:04 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I work at a video store
I have learned to hate people
With that hate, I have come to understand individuality
It is not a person I hate, but the idea of a person

You see, I find that I come to love the persons who stand across from me.
However, hating; i.e.: loathing; abhorring, the people who walk through the door.

I am tired of complexity. I want to write as a child writes. I want that freedom.
Could you imagine telling a child that you wanted the freedom that they had? How could they understand?
Children do not know that they are free, because they are not bound by knowledge of the world.

Education is cruel. Etcetera… Etcetera… Etcetera…

Nothing we can do to change the world
I suppose I will not think on it

You know, at the beginning of all of this I had a point, but you know; ***** it.
Why do I feel inclined to make a point? So that this has lucidity to you, reader, so that you might better understand what nonsense I’m babbling about.

The point is where I stand.

You make your own point.

My Dear, you are free...my point is that I like your point. If we could get everybody else pointed in that direction, we could all be free. Free... free...free....I'm having fun now. Thanks
elle

Seems simple to me..when you get to the point...you get to the point. I also hope I always at least keep the mind of a child as there lies a great truth.Yes I agree they are not bound by the knowledge of the world. Thanks

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
