oops
|
how can I maintain and
hold the line on sanity
when all around my flailing
are the confines of humanity?
the shore so close
the winds of change
whispered tales of paradise.
yet my reality so strange
can these sad truths yet suffice?
so close and yet so far away
I wait behind this tattered mask.
for all I conjure or dismiss
will surely only come to pass.
how far, how far am I away
from all I ever wanted to be?
and how close have I ever been
to the divine essence in me?
