exposed

Contributed by elle on Wednesday, 7th March 2007 @ 09:18:46 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

through lace skies, like tears of heaven
the evening showers from above
stream gently down
and come to rest
upon our souls
like liquid love.

my wild bouquet, once close at hand
is bruised, resembling time bygone.
wind blown blossoms
float multi-colored
onto the path
that leads us home.

desire, the web we're tangled in
unspoken thought, threshhold divine.
the you of you
I know so well
feelings linger
illusive and fine.

this gift is all I have to give
a tune to weave a liliac song.
each note cascading
all ways reaching
ever towards a love
for which we long.

it is not cold in our sweet house
though seasons beat upon the door.
for you are here
and warmth for me
and I will ask
for nothing more.

Wow!
This write is heavenly beautifull!
I couldn't squeze out more than five points so I'll just say this write hit the rictor scale all the way up the top.
big huggs, smiles,

elle .. the title is perfect and what follows is so incredibly
sensual and honest. I especially love the last stanza. The
words are beautiful and it floats off the tongue so
gracefully ..

stunning ~

Perfectly awesome. I was right. You can write about anything.
