Now while you look at me like you know me. You don't know about half the **** I've been through. How I have a crackhead for a mother and a father who died of AIDS. I was taken for my mother when I was four and put in a system that was suppose to protect me. Given to someone I damn well haven't seen before. Yeah I know I'm not perfect, but that sho in the hell doesn't mean I have to get beat. You can't blame me for acting like I can't trust anyone.
Now while you look at me and claim that you know me. You don't know about half the **** I've been through. How I was almost raped when I was eight. By someone who was suppose to be my cousin but never said a word cuz I theatened his life. Or never having a voice to speak for myself so I began to write. Being a poet at the age of nine wasn't easy. Being made fun of cuz I was different and not acting sleesy. Because I'd rather sit a pen and some paper and write. Instead of playing chase the boys all damn night.
Now while you look at me like you know me. You don't know about half the ****t I've been through. How being the only person in my high school that hasn't had sex. Being made fun of cuz I was different use to make me cry, but that was the past. Talk about me now and I'll kick yo ***.Cuz the truth is you don't know **** about me.
Now while you look at me like you know me. You don't know about half the ****t I've been through. You ask how I can sit here and tell you all of this without a tear in my eye. I can do this cuz throughout all of this pain I still survived.
Now while you look at me like you know me. You don't know about half the **** I've been though. Cuz even after I have told you all of this something new has already transpired in my life.

this is a very powerful write.. its very good that you were able to get through alot of bad times.. however don't let anger consume you. all the stuff you went through makes you a stronger wiser person.. this is a very expressive write..

Very Powerful! I hope it helped to make you feel better. :o) It always helps me. It's like when you put to paper your demons, you have less in your soul. (did that make sense? it does in my head) We all have our own special Hell that we endure, some are worse than others. I truely hope your Hell is coming to an end, if not ended already. I honestly hope you find peace because you so rightly deserve it! The repetition of the first line was brilliant! It encompassed the following stanza, made it stand out. Made it alive! Outlined and defined the rest of your statement.
