" Love "
The emotional element of love
from our dear God above
His precious special gift
with its powerful lift
Intended with its beauty
to warm our longing soul
To make us all complete
and to make us all as whole
Love, can sometimes kill
a hurtful heart will die
Love, can sometimes fill
a beating heart to fly
Love, is sometimes ugly, bitter
with most times sweet indeed
Love, depends upon the garden
of where we plant our seed
Love, can burn of fire
and sometimes feel like ice
Love, depends on its decisions
so make your choices wise
Love, seems so hard and hurtful
during stressful times
A true love is so healing
when your heart it finds
Love, the most important emotion
that we really need
Our life would be so boring
and very cold indeed
Love, is out there waiting
it always finds a way
When you really have it
it brightens up your day
If you don't respect it
in every kind of way
It will turn and leave you
a hurtful price to pay
Through this little poem
I write for you so well
Love, our gift from Heaven
without it our living Hell!!!!!
