Make me a ripple in the vast blue ocean,
Make me a dove in the setting sky,
Make me a poppy dancing in the breeze,
Make me wings and let me fly.
Make me a fine wine, aged and divine,
Make me the sunshine on a cloudless day,
Make me the hope of a war torn country,
Make me a light to shine the way.
Make me a sweet note of a playing harp,
Make me a tear drop on a gentle face,
Make me the heart of a joyful angel,
Make me one voice for the entire human race.
Make me the courage of a determined athlete,
Make me a wild horse, galloping free,
Make me a companion on a Winter's night,
Make me thankful for being me.
