Brazilian Wax

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Tuesday, 6th March 2007 @ 09:53:41 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

survival tactics
exposed barracks
show resiliency in aversive predicaments
in sync are the elements
cruising to a boiling point
bubbling over
smoke builds around the four-leaf-clover
fire tares through the veins
the muscles constrict at their most vulnerable points
the fingers let slip
from the hand which gripped
all the strength it ever had to give

receive what is coming
take it like a man
like a champ
not a chump
buckled over with a stomach cramp
emergency stomach pump
a strange lump
growing on the side of the neck
a freckleish spec
a headache from being over sober
hung-over
high off suds of soda
candy water
licorice straws
to suck through holes
until the liquid is told
to form solid bonds
with surrounding foes
keep on your cloths
or take them off

piles of shoes
shoe-laces tied in knots of two
strings attach to maneuver you
the warm egg has hatched
the chick is snatched
a soaring eagle
swooping in on a fresh-batch
feeding his young
chewing and spitting for fun
to the end of the branch
the plank of do or die
walk to the edge little bird!
daddy double dares you to fly

phobic of air
excess pubic hair
allergic to gentle touch and care
take back life
replace it with hope
a scenario to cope
with a struggling plot of despair
comedic and absent of jokes
poke fun at those who are down
take pleasure
in another’s
misfortunate gown
the devilish frown
gathers at the side of the mouth
from which was spewed
salvia mixed with food
digesting on a table
the man seems unstable
lets all assign him a label

a stereotypic,
hypercritical, way to solve a beef
you see,
simply cut the tender meat into equal portions of three
each of you takes one and a half-
and leave the chewy bone for me
sit back and watch-
as I eat my way back to normalcy

I found this strangely galant and by all rights powerful. Your intensity propelled me head first into your storm...Bravo...

I never get sick of this switch-it-up style you like to spoil us readers with from time to time! Your flair for reactive wording has certainly inspired my style of writing a time or two. The title is very mango-ish haha.
