What I Long

What I long
Is not meant to be
Crippled hearts glorify my life
Such a shame that I couldn’t see
Blind folded I gave way to my soul
And then was throttled upon
In the moment of a second
My enmity towards “good” had begun
I don’t want to question
I don’t want to know
Anything about having love, life or hope
Can you stand in my shoes?
And then give a grin…
To the unfaithful hopes, that gave way to sin
Don’t question my mind
Or the way I am
I was molded from a piece of wax
To a hard rock that now stands bland

I liked this. I can relate to the feeling of wanting someone to stand in my shoes for a day. This was deep and it was beautifully written. The flow was great. Great poem.
Take care
