My Heart's Voice

Contributed by SeXyDrAgOn on Monday, 5th March 2007 @ 01:08:59 PM in AEST
Topic: poets

The words speak beyond their own meaning
The letters dance across the page
He writes each a tiny masterpiece
And sends them here to their own stage

They perform a magnificent show
Each line a tantilizing score
And when the last words take their final bow
It leaves me breathless and wanting more

Each write he's painted me a picture
A vivid description of his emotion
His pen must steam within his fingers
Fueled by a burning devotion

His pen a dedicated voice
A heartfelt expression of passions
His style and grace all falls into place
With words dressed in ballroom fashions

They dance around my heart
With the love that they are flaunting
The affection and inspiration
Its all so very taunting

The voice in my heart calls out
When I read him (so fortunately)
it leaves me yearning for words he speaks
To one day be coming from me

You just may be the one to take me out from under the rock who's presence has long prevented me from writing about the man my heart truly belongs to

This was a very well penned piece of perfection for your appreciation for Ben's work and, as you may and may have already found out, so many wonderful writers here at YPDC. I think you may count yerself as one, if ya don't mind a cowboy compliment. Tip o' my hat to ya. Fine work here!

Wow what a poignant dialogue between poets as the depth of love penetrates all veneer's and if given a chance changes us at our core.

Many Blessings

Bravo
