When Night Falls

Shadows grow long, as the sun falls low.
in this moment the existence of space and time will cease.
Darkness overtakes the landscape, and he finds himself at peace.
The tranquil night will save him from his woe.

High above the earth is a beautiful show
sparkling in the sky, filling the endless expanse,
He knows that with each star comes a new hope and a new chance.
And the mere thought sets his heart aglow.

silver moonlight falls down upon the world below.
laying on the cool grass, he searches for an answer to his prayer.
day will soon break, he has been awake all night but does not care.
Will the day bring the answer he seeks? Only one way to know.

And so, on he goes, praying for whats real to be a dream,
and what is a dream to be real.
