The inverted reflection

Topic:
anguished
|
The incandescently superficial bleakness
Of covering my weakness
Leaves me unknown
and utterly alone
The truth is a digestible poison taken
when all lies are forsaken
causing pain to cease
and the arrival of peace
The inverted dull image of my reflection
Upon closer inspection
Is my only projection
I use for protection
To keep who I am
Hidden from them
