I’ll always remember that place
On Melancholy Drive,
With the beautiful crows dancing
On the roof, like little children.
Its shingles rained down
Every once in a while,
Trimming overgrown bushes,
And making beautiful clouds of grey
In the summer.
An old man stopped by
And placed a single white rose
On the doorstep of the house
On Melancholy Drive.
I asked him why he mourned
At such an honest, black beauty.
He never answered, and simply sighed
And walked away
From his beautiful, black house
On Melancholy Drive.

This gave me chills, in a good way of course. I felt this so deeply. Vivid details and images you brought into this.
