I ran across her one day
I smiled at her pretty face
She said I won't keep you long
I just want you to hear this song
Then she began to sing with a voice
Unlike any I'd ever heard
There's no way I can describe it
But these were the words
She said...
Day goes to night
Then the dark returns to the light
The world changes everyday
Sometimes the sky is gray
And the next it might be blue
But the one thing thats consistant
Is my undying love for you
Yes it's true...
Your a goddess, your a dove
My God sent angel, my one true love
I'd lie for you, I'm tellin' you I'd die for you
Live for you, Yes I'd cry for you
See your the stars and the sky
The one I'll love until I die
Your the only thing in this life thats feels good
And the more she spoke the better I understood
Through the darkness you are the light
When everythings wrong, this love is still right
When everything is weak, this love is still strong
And in that moment I realized it was me singing this song
It was my own voice all along
And once I said all that I needed to say...
I set her picture down and walked away.

...I Miss You Luci...

I really liked this one. I love the concept of the poem, very well thought out.
Take care,
