That night in amsterdam,
when reality was eclipsed by insanity,
when light was shrouded in darkness,
when my path was blocked by obstacles,
you showed me the way.

That night in amsterdam,
when my happiness was bitterly poisoned,
when my vision was left harshly blurred,
when my destination was torn from my brain,
you showed me the way.

through all of the haze,
I began to see your face,
and when I saw your eyes.
I knew I would see another sunrise.
You may not be an Angel,
but to me you are everything.
