Hmmmm.... Receptionist, Administration, to help organise Doctors appointments too!
This sounds a little number, that I would like to do .....
Where is the address again? .... Ooohhh just down the road it is
It's getting even better, I can walk there in a Tiz........
Best I post my application, nice and early catch the worm...
Be one of the first to apply for, it make the others squirm
Wonder if they would choose me?.... be local, and so close?
As I sit and take a sip of tea and bite into my toast....
Popped my cv in an envelope today, now I have applied
Told them all the honest facts, made sure I hadn't lied
Wait in anticipation, watch the letterbox real keen
Nothing in the post today?.... nothing that I've seen!
Tomorrow is another day, and whats meant to.... sure will be
I will take another look first thing, wonder what I'll see?
Ah, morning doesn't hang about, and neither does myself!
Sitting like a pixie waiting,.... not good for my health .....
Yess yesss yesss! a letter, with a handwritten address too
I'm quite excited ,full of joy, what am I to do ?
I open it quite roughly, rip thru the envelope
If I have an interview , however will I cope?
Wey hey hey, sure enough, now they've asked me in
To sit, and ask me questions, when, and where I've been?
I go there, don't seem many here, not many here atall
I'm the only one that's sitting now, beside the notice wall
Oooh it's my turn now, my tummy feels butterflies then sick
I hope they get this interview over rather quick
I find that actually it is fun, they're really, quite relaxed and cool
I feel so very welcome chilled and not like Im at school
What's that I hear a 100? people applied for this place?
How on earth do I stand a chance? I start to walk with grace
You want me back again you say? for interview number two?
This time it will be Doctor's four? and me ,and then there's you?
Im really getting nervous now. to sit before them all
Suddenly I feel very young and really rather small
So many questions that they as, stay calm I tell myself again
Nearly at the end of it , wait for them to tell me when...
I smile and nod and then shake hands, with 1 to number four
I head toward the exit, slipping quietly out the door
I get outside, and SIGH RELIEF at last I'm free again
Did they tell me they would phone? did they tell me when?
I'm just about to drink my coffee my phone begins to ring ....
I don't know whether to feel sad or laugh.... or just maybe to sing...
I've GOT THE JOB? how wonderful, why thank you all again
So tell me then what time I start?, that's great See you all at TEN ...

malcolmsdreamgirl, I love the creative and fun way of seeing an interview through your creative hand. Once again you shine so bright and make us feel so grand. You are so amazingly gifted and one that many of us adore. This was superb my dear Lady. Thank you so much for giving us more of you which some of us may never get enough of.
Your Dear Friend
