Inside my chest I let the memory of you reside
With a note from your heart I keep written inside
Frozen air surrounds your eyes
As you speak worlds collide
I'd pull the stars from the sky and lay them at your feet
I love you so much I can hear your name in my heartbeat
You've blown me away, I can hardly breathe
No you don't understand, I love you so much it's hard to believe
I miss the feel of your delicate touch
It hurts so bad without you, I miss you so much
Memories of you fading into the past
I turned my blood cold hoping to freeze your kiss so it lasts
Stuck in the shadow of your undying light
I live my days like they are nights
And all the space that you need
And the silence you plead
I've thrown them away cuz your signs I can't read
I only believe what I see in your eyes
For it's only your eyes that tell me no lies
I see how you miss me, the way I miss you
As your eyes are screaming "I love you too"
I just cant understand why you treat me so bad
Why you live to hurt me, and make me so sad
And despite it all your still the greatest love I've ever had
So I'll keep the memory of you inside my chest to reside
With a note from your heart I keep written inside.

this is a very beautiful yet haunting write of the heart and so well worded. such a emotional sad piece yet speaks volumes.. sometimes even though you can read deep inside someone loves you they still walk away.. sometimes for no reason at all. this is a wonderful write
