Diagonal Verb

Contributed by yangdantien on Wednesday, 28th February 2007 @ 12:02:03 AM in AEST
Topic: abstract

Cherry petals dance,
tantalize by way of wind,
sun greets, daylight warms.

Origami Speech

Words breathe aloud,
in wide canyons
echoes within,
rumbled rocks
come alive as dust,
rising clouds
in layers settle.

Don't eat chicken
embrace fright.
Avoid pork
swine sty, pigged out.
Turkey makes the fool
sleepy.
Big beef charges in.
Rabbit and venison
suit,
fleet of foot
with many children.

Cut out, boxed up
the corner sections
fills first,
words are grabbed,
stretched, held aloft,
the ideas dance
on bobbing
washed hands.

What can I say? The sudden jumps from one topic to another, which seem sudden, but are not really so...
There is deeper meaning in it, waiting to be discerned.

I loved your style! Keep up the great work.

You know,
I first read the title and your little dialogue of faithful analization without realizing it was you who wrote this poem and it makes sense now that you would.

Because your writing is very unique and recognizable.

And thank you once again for a babble of brilliance that seems as though a madman spewed it out to you as you passed in New York City but when you got home you realized he was God.

Cheers,
Francis Wolf

It is a thought provoking poem which i understand is your style, but what is so deferent about your poem is the graphic supporters; I enjoyed the paper craft of a fling bird in graphic movement was educational.

Yes the first with Liily Tomlin is so perfect LOL. Yes you too have a unique style . Easy flowing words and thought provoking as the reader tries to interupt your essences similar to your own . I enjoy the graphics that are included Kool Idea.

You see my friend when one is away for a while they miss out on getting to be one of the first ones to comment on your remarkable poetry. I just happen to be one of those people, but hey like they say better late than never, lol.
Sir AJ you are, here I go again sounding like a scratched record in the process, an extraordinary poet whose work is thought provoking and whose work has such depth and meaning. I loved the quote at the start by Lily Tomlin. A mighty fine job Sir AJ~
As always ur fan/friend,
