A year ago I would’ve never imagined I’d be here. Yet, here I am, and I am happy. Not a second goes by without thinking about him. Not a breath I breathe goes without needing him beside me.
It feels like I’ve known him forever, but it’s only been a year since we met….how do thing like this work? Who really knows? Who cares? I’m so happy, I could fly.
Let the rain come down and wash away my fears. Let me float away on this silver wave. So many days of struggle. So many hours questioning my survival, but now I can’t question anything. It feels like nothing I’ve felt before…
This wintry land may be cold, but inside I’m warm. Inside I feel like I’m on top of it all. I’m not ready to give it up. I’m not ready to let go.
Let the rain come down. Let the storms take me away. I’m going to hold onto him until daylight dies. I’m just so happy, I could fly.
Storm clouds gather in the distance, and I say let the rain fall.
