Christopher Clothes my how you rose from a boy to such a fine man.
So much to do, so much to know, some travel and fun times at hand.
Christopher clothes you save all your treasures from ribbons to pieces of junk.
I fear when you leave you won’t get far for your clothes need an oversized trunk.
Christopher clothes what is it you see in the articles that you preserve?
Is it worth all the bother to gather such clutter, do the clothes earn the place they deserve?
For at some time or other, maybe lent to your brother, a few of the clothes that you hold.
One things for certain Chris won’t be a hurtin and never naked or cold.
Chris don’t need a broom, he can’t sweep the room, the clothes are so cluttered about.
I can’t see the floor.
I must close the door.
I feel I’m near ready to shout.
Christopher clothes from a boy to a man. It’s time to get organized.
Start with the favorites, the newest, then comforts and then in the end chose the size.

This really made me smile, thank you! As a child I hated throwing things away so I can completely understand your frustration and also fondness of the ways of your son. You have a wonderful talent for creating poems that transform the mundane to the magical.

i love how you brought me back to my younger days, in my messy room the floor only existed about once a month and my mother would always tell me to clean it or close the door. this story is for more than just a few to relate to, and you put it together, well, like a mother gives her child love. nicely done. |

This was nice. I am glad that you were able to gain inspiration from your children. Especially Christopher. This was a cute poem and I enjoyed reading it.
Take care
