In the middle of the night,
Deep in the thoughts of dreams,
I look around to find you,
Hope,
Is what it seems,
I look and dream about you,
Hoping you will be there,
Because you went upon that journey,
That place over there.
God called your name,
You went and now your home,
But I am here looking around for an answer,
I feel left alone.
And now I am looking into my dreams,
To catch a glimpse of you,
To feel your arms around me,
To feel a touch from you.
Or that familiar gentle kiss,
Or that hug or two,
Oh, I miss you momma,
I so long for you.
