OZONE !

Contributed by Postcard_From_Heaven on Monday, 26th February 2007 @ 01:03:46 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

MY LOVE
At times when things
go wrong, there isn't
much that anyone can say
except these few words-

I'm truly sorry

I've known I was wrong but
couldn't admit it to you.
And now before any more
time slips by, I'd like to say-

I'm truly sorry

You probably guessed
that this is an apology,
I certainly owe you one
It's best if I'm totally honest
and admit, I was wrong and-

I'm truly sorry

But I owe you more than that,
I want you to know
that I care about you.
hurt feelings may make
that hard to believe
right now, but it's true.
that's why I want to
promise that I'll try not
to repeat the same mistake
again and believe me-

I'm truly sorry

There is an old saying in India, colonialism of English Raj has gone past but still rules the those words they left us as heritage; I am truly sorry / thank you.
if there is Love and understanding between the two, these words does not hold any meaning.

FRANCO

For all the apologies needed this would be a well used piece...and as pride may stand in our way...I like the verse which acknowledge that I've known I was wrong...nice piece
