Topic: abstract



They shine ever so bright
They hang stuck in time
What for? what for?
So lost

Sending rays
Sending hope
Shimmering
Death
Oh so cold

Why do they stay?
Stuck
Suspended
Condemned

Haunting dreams
Of what was there
We only see
There past
Presence may be lost
For ever

Looking up
Creates a downward
Spiral
The outcome
Depressed

I look
These stars
They consume
My vision
in gulped
By furry

I sit
So lost
Confused
Condemned myself

Misplaced
They are
These feelings
Abstract
Blinding
Mischievous men
What has become
Of me
Misguided
By my past
Left for a reason
The reason
Death

I’ve been shaped
To know better
To see my actions
To choose right
From wrong

These stars
They’ve changed
Turned my love
To greed

And how
How did I not see?
See
The reality of this situation

For now I am blind
I have no vision
Because I chose to look
To ponder my past
To awake from
This dream

And now
My shelter is gone
My eyes bleed
My life is no longer
What it seems
