Flip the script on
Belief and Religion
realize how private
each idea is held
tenets from the head
on down,
so in quick removal
factors all public manners,
the big dinner table
where we all dine.
Sick practice of convictions twist,
banding together,
in contrast and competition,
kills.
A cancer among us,
a side effect from
the rule of group-think,
those like minded
metastasized,
turns our world
into blood baths daily.
Guerrilla behaviors:
are a 'gamers' mindset,
with 'winner & losers'
ever terrorizing each other
to fight till the end.
Consider 'Non-Theism,'
decidedly
not against god,
(as some 'militant'
atheists provoke)
in active deemphasis
of 'magical thinking'
from public works.
Expose extremes
as naked death,
life choices avoided
for it is UP to each
for better notions.
Figure eight ideas in
freedom from division,
so superimposed over oneness,
our genius in one species,
trapped and spun by unholy pairings,
as science is to technology
politics is to religion,
where each needs taming.

My friend I too don't see an end to this maniacal chaos
that our world is heading; yet through poetry like yours sure could see a the light of hope at the other side of the tunnel.

| Well written my friend..oh my how war does rule our economy...it is so profitable..peace..the only peace a being shall know is the peace he can build within his own mind..frustrated,castrated is man in this time of no peace in the land.Great thought on our stupidity of war in this supposed evolved species of ours. |

A powerful, thought provoking write filled with such wisdom. I fear for man himself my dear friend. With all the wars that are going on humans I'm afraid at this rate will cease to exist. It's so sad that there are those extremists out there who care not of what happens to humanity~
I am afraid for my children and their generation what will happen to them?
