~Vulnerable~

Contributed by MisfitMe on Sunday, 25th February 2007 @ 12:45:55 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Not unlike many~

she'd raced away from before

Yet, unlike any~

gave chase & would not be ignored...

How dare such intrude~

on her chosen awareness

Unprepared to elude~

this utter raw bareness...

All kept in the depths hidden~

was out being tore

The pain of which was far beyond~

that she'd ever bore...

How had she become~

so vulnerable...so careless...

That within her realm warred~

'realitys' unfairness...

My friend it is a very intense and emotional poem, your heart crunching verses moved my vulnerable heart for a long time;

"All kept in the depths hidden~

was out being tore

The pain of which was far beyond~

that she'd ever bore..."

So painful indeed.

Bravo with tear trickling applause.
Your piece made me feel things I half-realize but had not pieced together.
Reality is not just what is made real.
Fairness is an illusion.
Vulnerability is a fact.
Compassion from the heart,
sound wisdom with hope for the best & Love,
bridges the cold hard truths.
Many take the easy path and things get harder.
Do the hard things now and things get easier.
Then realize people can talk themselves into anything.

Thank You for the Clarity.

Blessings & Salutations
AJ

Beautifully written...It reminds me of my own healing journey taken delicately out of me and shredding me before finding the peace of letting go of all old pains...thank you

oh my gosh hun ... soooooooo relatable. (and painful to read)

I rarely "steal" another's comment, but, for me, AJ really
stated a truth that is hard to swallow. (At least for
the dreamers, no?)

Excellent post, hun. In the most vulnerable of emotions, I
try to wrap myself in hope. It is, truly, the only thing that
keeps my soul from screaming its lungs out!

Thank you for this. : ) It's perfect.

Touched a nerve with this one. Wow, sis. We so need to get together some day. Work together and sort schtuff out.
Peace,
Laura
