Paperback Scrawl.

Contributed by bleedthelove on Saturday, 24th February 2007 @ 07:48:55 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Amidst her most toxic flaw
She still manages to leave me in awe
Through promises broken
And words unspoken
She brings the light of day
Still manages to keep me captivated in every way
Born a blessing, a cure to the curse
Stuck in the words and the verse
I traverse the skies
Traveling through vague notions
Twisted in devotion
I bring storms to my ocean
For she is the sand
I long to crash my waves into the body of her land
Understand...
This is more than just a poetic prose
This is so much more deeper than anybody knows
It flows and grows
Bleeds through and shows
Never give up this fight
Wrap my body around her life
Never lose sight
Let my soul take flight
Bleed the ink I write
This is beautiful
This is true
And I just wanna say that I...
I love you.

This is amazing, such potent images: 'bleed the ink I write' and 'I long to crash my waves into the body of her land' gave me goosebumps. Great write,

Dom
